Success Through Quality

Control, the world’s leading trade fair for quality assurance, creates information, communication and business value added by presenting the latest technologies from metrology, materials testing, analysis equipment, optoelectronics and QA systems. The programme is completed with industrial weighing and counting technology as well as sensor technology.

In Control, trade fair company Schall has once again demonstrated his skill at setting the course at an early stage. The first edition began in 1987 in Sindelfingen, with 97 exhibitors. At that time, the quality assurance sector was still in the starting blocks. However, process monitoring in production in particular has become more significant over the years for many production businesses. As such, in the last 30 years, Control has grown from a market niche to the most important business platform – on which innovations and world firsts are regularly presented.

Today, over 800 exhibitors from 26 countries are presenting to the  over 26,000 visitors from 92 countries on the site of the state trade fair centre in Stuttgart.

Control works very intensively with the pioneering institutions of the sector. Those on board include Fraunhofer-Allianz Vision, Fraunhofer IPA, emva – european machine vision association and the German Society for Quality (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität – DGQ). This concentrated know-how is made available to visitors in special exhibitions, theme parks and specialist presentations, thereby generating direct value added for users.

Profit from Control as an exhibitor:

  • As a purist trade fair for quality assurance, Control is internationally unique and serves as a meeting place for global market leaders.
  • For many years now, the exhibitors have been developing innovations and product premieres targeted for presentation at Control. Exhibit your innovations and products to the world market at Control too! Continuously growing sectors include, for example, vision and image processing systems, as well as sensor technology and fully automated, robot-aided test and inspection technology.
  • 91% of the expert visitors at Control are involved in procurement decisions. As an exhibitor, you’ll be awaited by a top quality audience that wants to make targeted investments in you products and Solutions.
