Even small, networked ZEISS solutions enable the metrology engineer to digitalize their day-to-day work in the measuring lab and network data to make analyses more reliable and efficient. Using this quality data, information from different areas of the company can be transferred to the manufacturing and design departments. Software solutions, such as ZEISS PiWeb, help by correlating the results and visualizing these in real time. With ZEISS CALYPSO PMI software, you will notice a significant reduction in the time and effort required for creating the necessary measurement plans. The product and manufacturing information (PMI) stored in the CAD model is automatically transformed into a measurement plan with the specified tolerances. The ZEISS TEMPAR temperature monitoring system further limits the risk of unreliable results and thus a potential reduction in quality. The sensors mounted throughout the measuring lab are networked and automatically record the temperature profile for the lab. The system warns the operator if the calculated values exceed the specified threshold.

With ZEISS AICell trace, ZEISS is launching a new product for automotive manufacturers to help them make their measuring and production processes even more efficient. Correlation-free measurements ensures that component dimensions are measured reliably in the production line, beginning with the very first part. This way companies can drastically reduce the number of time-consuming remeasurements on a coordinate measuring machine in the measuring lab, which requires transferring identified deviations between the in-line and CMM measurements to the in-line measuring systems as correction values.
