Control 2017 – the QA Party Goes On!
Control’s 30th anniversary event lies just a bit more than 10 weeks in the past, post-processing of trade fair leads is running at full bore and the next Control won’t open for more than 9 months – but the globally leading trade fair which addresses the entire range of issues covering all aspects of quality assurance is already captivating all involved parties! This applies above all to the potential exhibitors, most of whom, according to project manager Gitta Schlaak, have announced their renewed participation and thus as a consequence, more than half of the exhibitors from 2016 and a sizeable number of new exhibitors have already registered for Control 2017.
Gitta Schlaak is able to report the same trend for longstanding and new collaboration partners who have already confirmed that they will participate at Control 2017, and are “looking forward to getting in on the action again!” Within this context it should also be mentioned that the emva european machine vision association, by its own account, was able to celebrate a great success with its Control Vision Talks held for the first time at Control 2016, the expectations of which were greatly exceeded.
Together with other partners such as the Vision Academy, the Fraunhofer Vision Alliance, the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation and the French SYMOP association, as well as xpertgate (authors of the special trade fair guide for image processing), private trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG are determined to provide the international expert visitors with a demanding supplementary programme including world-class presentations and speakers at the event in 2017.
More than 250 manufacturers and distributors from the growing field of image processing and vision systems took part at the last Control international trade fair for quality assurance, so that Control has now evolved into the leading event for the industry sector. A strictly practical approach is surely one of the reasons for this success, because Control’s expert visitors come to Stuttgart with concrete project RFQs and expect to find solutions here which they’ll be able to implement and take advantage of quickly.
Persistently strong demand for QA products and solutions is also attracting the enormous interest of other exhibitors from both inside and outside of Germany – the USA, China and Canada are especially conspicuous in this respect and are deliberately registering early.
