In industrial assembly, a single “click” often determines quality and process reliability. ClickID is an AI-powered wearable that combines motion and audio sensors in a compact glove to reliably detect assembly processes - such as the engagement of connectors - in real time. Precise sensor fusion - multidimensional acceleration data combined with acoustic signatures of mechanical clips - creates a robust understanding of the assembly process, even under challenging conditions such as high ambient noise, time pressure, or limited visibility.
The AI models of ClickID learn from real-world motion and audio data, recognize characteristic patterns of a correct connection process, and provide immediate feedback. The result: significantly reduced rework, transparent process quality, and a new form of quality assurance directly at the workplace.
The presentation demonstrates how modern sensor fusion overcomes the limitations of traditional quality assurance, why acoustic micro-events are crucial for defect detection, and how ClickID helps companies make quality measurable, reproducible, and real-time capable.
