The 34th Control international trade fair for quality assurance will take place in Stuttgart from the 3rd through the 6th of May, 2022. The unique business platform covering the fields of vision technology, image processing and sensor technology, as well as measuring and test technology, is being eagerly awaited. The booking status is extremely satisfying and the number of international participants is impressive. Not without reason: the significance of industrial quality assurance continues to grow and has never been more important than it is right now.
Trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG are ushering in the next Control, world’s leading trade fair for quality assurance (QA). It’s the globally esteemed, leading technology, communication and business platform, covering all aspects of quality control in industrial production, which was forced to take a 2-year break. The industry sector is now waiting to finally be able to meet again in Stuttgart. “For decades, the trade fair has been one of the most important events of the year for many companies. It’s established itself as an international industry highlight,” says managing director Bettina Schall. “Already 7 months before the trade fair opens, high booking levels amounting to more than 21,000 square metres of floor space have been reached, and 34% of the exhibitors are from outside of Germany. This is unique!”
Industry Sector Looking Forward to an On-Site Event
“Industrial QA is gaining significance every day in all manufacturing industries and is now spreading into the service sector as well,” emphasises project manager Fabian Krüger. “And thus it’s high time to exchange views on QA in person again, and to discuss concrete solutions in an up-to-date setting. Exhibitors and expert visitors feel the very distinct need to see each other again in person and talk about innovations. Visitors are already asking for tickets.”
Recent months have fuelled the need for QA in all sectors like never before: increasing automation, digitalisation, contactless procedures, remote services, zero-defects production and end-to-end traceability in all industries and manufacturing segments have propelled demands placed on measuring and test technology, as well as vision technology, image processing and sensor technology, to new heights.
Personal Encounters Shape Business Relations
“For us at messwelk GmbH, together with our partner companies WYLER AG and Marcel-Aubert-SA, Control is the most important trade fair of the year,” notes Tobias Welk, sales and laboratory manager at messwelk GmbH in Kleinostheim, Germany. “Participation has been a matter of course for us since the second year the event was held. Competent technical advice at our trade fair booth provides our customers with a personal experience that can shape business ties for many years to come. We expect an above-average number of visitors in 2022, and thus very good prospects for potential sales from participation at the trade fair.”
