QA Expert Days 2026: QA industry highlights in a nutshell

A new event format, the “QA Expert Days”, will kick off a new event rhythm for Control, the international trade fair for quality assurance, in 2026: In future, the trade fair will take place in odd-numbered years – next time again from April 27 to 30, 2027. In even-numbered years, the industry will gather for the two-day QA Expert Days. The debut of the two-day congress event, which presents specialist knowledge and industry innovations in a compact format, will take place from 20 to 21 May 2026.
The 38th Control, international trade fair for quality assurance (QA), will take place in Stuttgart from April 27 to 30, 2027. For 2026, the industry can look forward to a new specialist event format – the QA Expert Days. This two-day event from 20 to 21 May 2026 will provide a working and communication platform for presenting specialist knowledge and industry innovations in a compact and streamlined format. The high-caliber expert meeting offers all participants a high level of added value through an exclusive and direct business exchange in lectures, discussions and best-practice presentations. An accompanying exhibition rounds off the QA Expert Days 2026.
“The Control brand is relevant across all industries. It is considered indispensable by many companies worldwide,” states Bettina Schall, Managing Director of the trade fair company P. E. Schall. “It therefore remains a reliable, annual milestone in the trade fair and specialist event calendar. The new format marks the start of a new event rhythm in 2026: Control, the international trade fair for quality assurance, will take place in odd-numbered years, while the industry will gather for the two-day QA Expert Days in Stuttgart in even-numbered years. This gives all suppliers of QA technology an efficient and up-to-date opportunity to present themselves. At the same time, the expert community continues to meet annually under the umbrella of the important and established Control brand. Exhibitors and trade visitors will benefit from newly generated benefits, greater cost-effectiveness and an attractive business impact with intensive networking.”
QA Expert Days for more efficiency and benefits
The QA Expert Days event format combines the characteristics of a trade fair and a congress. The two-day exclusive meeting of experts will be a high-caliber and concentrated meeting of decision-makers, which will bring together specialist knowledge and industry news in a compact format. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., industry news will be communicated in an entertaining and practice-oriented manner during specialist lectures, discussion rounds and presentations. All traditional Control exhibitors are invited to actively participate and contribute their respective expertise.
“Control is the most important trade event in the QA and measurement technology sector,” continued the Managing Director of the trade fair company. “This year’s Control, with 36 percent international participation, has once again proven that it has a global impact across all industries.” The focus of all companies is on efficiency, productivity, resource conservation and sustainability. The trade fair organizer wants to support these framework conditions with the new trade fair rhythm and the supplementary event format. Exhibitors and trade visitors should therefore make a note of the next dates: QA Expert Days from 20 to 21 May 2026 and the 38th Control, international trade fair for quality assurance, from 27 to 30 April 2027 in Stuttgart.
