Control 2027 Unites Quality and Productivity

Focus on quality: the 38th Control international trade fair for quality assurance (QA) is gearing up for the next industry gathering. The community will meet at its usual venue in Stuttgart to showcase a broad range of technological innovations in the field of measuring and test technology from the 11th through the 14th May, 2027. Cost-effectiveness and efficiency in product manufacturing will take centre stage.
Preparation for the next Control international trade fair for quality assurance is running full bore. “Booking levels are very good,” says Fabian Krüger, Control project manager at trade fair promoters P. E. Schall. “Measuring and test technology companies are eager to present their latest developments and take applications to the next level,” notes Krüger. Developments are being driven by cost-effectiveness, resource conservation, energy costs, e-mobility and automation – all of which can only be tackled through the digitalisation of quality and production processes. Quality assurance has long since ceased to be merely a post-production or outsourced inspection process and has become an indispensable cornerstone of economic sustainability and market survival.
QA as Productivity Driver
Quality assurance is a key factor for economic efficiency, resilience and competitiveness. Ensuring quality at an early stage reduces scrap, rework, customer complaints and supply chain risks. Quality and productivity go hand in hand in day-to-day manufacturing – and this is boosting further development in the fields of automated measuring technology in production, closed-loop manufacturing and the integration of quality data throughout the entire value chain. Further topics covered by the next trade fair will include software solutions for strategic quality management, software for operational quality assurance and AI tools as decision-making aids for routine daily tasks. All in all, AI will continue to play a major role because it helps organise information more quickly, identify patterns in data, prepare root cause analyses and identify more targeted measures. New developments in optical coordinate measuring technology and X-ray computed tomography can also be expected at Control 2027, along with the automation of quality assurance measures and their integration into various processes.
World’s Leading Trade Fair for All Aspects of Quality Assurance
For many years, Control has carried special significance for numerous companies because it serves as a key international platform for the exchange of practical experience amongst the quality community, with a clear focus on industrial quality assurance. In-depth technical discussions at Control reveal the specific challenges faced by today’s companies – ranging from more efficient processes and issues such as cost-effectiveness, supply chain problems and regulatory compliance, right on up to the intelligent use of data by means of new technologies. Direct contact with users, decision-makers and partners opens up new opportunities from both a technological and a business perspective, because discussions are goal-oriented and address specific issues encountered by the visitors. This results in valuable solutions for the quality of products, processes and management as well.
World-Class Supplementary Programme with Control Quality Talks and Presentation Forum
“The development of measuring and test systems for quality assurance is advancing at a rapid pace and is of paramount importance for the success of the manufacturing industries,” emphasises project manager Fabian Krüger. “And we’re looking forward to continuing to support this fascinating development at Control. With a further edition of the “Control Quality Talks” panel discussion – a speaker’s forum launched successfully in 2025 – all participants are set to experience a world-class Control trade fair in 2027.” And thus the event, held once every two years, remains the most important international industry gathering for the QA community. Together with the “Control Expert Days”, which complement the trade fair and will take place again in 2028, all participants will derive maximum, effective benefits for their companies – exhibition, knowledge transfer, communication and networking at their very best. Everyone who provides and makes use of quality assurance measures should save the dates for the next Control now: in Stuttgart from the 11th through the 14th of May, 2027!
