The 34th Control – International Trade Fair for Quality Assurance – will take place from 03. to 06 May 2022 will be held in Stuttgart. The unique business platform for the fields of vision technology, image processing, sensor technology and measuring and testing technology is eagerly awaited. The booking status is highly satisfactory and the international participation is remarkable. Not without reason: industrial quality assurance continues to grow in importance and has never been more important than it is today.

Trade fair promoter P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG heralds the next Control, the world’s leading trade fair for quality assurance (QA). It is the globally highly regarded and leading technology, communication and business platform around quality in industrial production and had to take a break for two years. Now the industry is waiting to finally meet again in Stuttgart. “For decades, the trade show has been one of the most important trade fairs of the year for many companies. It is set as an international industry highlight,” says Managing Director Bettina Schall. “Already seven months before the start of the fair, there is a high booking level on a good 21,000 square meters and a share of foreign exhibitors of 34 percent. That is unique!”

Industry looks forward to face-to-face event

“After all, industrial QA is growing in importance every day in all manufacturing sectors and is now spreading to the service sector as well,” emphasizes project manager Fabian Krüger. “That’s why it’s now high time to exchange views on QA in person again and discuss concrete solutions up-to-date. Exhibitors and trade visitors definitely want and need to see each other live again and talk about innovations, this need is clearly felt. Visitors are already asking for tickets.”
The past few months have driven the need for QA in all sectors like never before: increasing automation, digitization, non-contact operations, remote services, zero-defect production and end-to-end traceability in any industry and manufacturing segment have raised the demands on measurement and inspection technology as well as vision technology, machine vision and sensor technology to a new level.

Personal encounter shapes business relationship

“Control is the most important trade fair of the year for us as messwelk GmbH with our partner companies WYLER AG and Marcel-Aubert-SA,” states Tobias Welk, Sales and Laboratory Manager at messwelk GmbH in Kleinostheim. “Participation has been a matter of course for us since the trade show’s second year of existence. At the booth, competent technical advice becomes a personal experience for our customers that can shape a business relationship for many years. We expect an above-average number of visitors in 2022 and thus a high sales potential from participation in the trade show.”

Fixed in the calendar: 03. until 06 May 2022 are quality assurance days!

At Control, users from all industries will find everything they need for industrial zero-defect production – from mechatronic measurement technology, machine vision solutions and test systems to robot-supported and end-to-end digitized QA solutions for unit-count-flexible variant production. QA has steadily gained in importance over the years. It enables test engineering users to exchange closed data in networked processes. Time and again, the high practical benefit of Control for trade show visitors and the top-level professional exchange are emphasized. All exhibitors show here their latest developments and innovations on the subject of QS, which is not implemented in this concentrated form at any other trade fair.
