From 03. until 06 May 2022 the 34th Control – International Trade Fair for Quality Assurance – will take place. The presence fair is awaited with great excitement and anticipation, worldwide! More than one third of the registered exhibitors come from abroad. In Stuttgart, trade visitors will experience further developments in the fields of vision technology, image processing, sensor technology, and measuring and testing technology.

The industry is getting ready – and is looking forward to the Control trade fair from 03. until 06 May 2022 in Stuttgart. The world’s highly regarded Quality Assurance (QA) trade show is now awaited with excitement, impatience and anticipation. This is because there have been significant new advancements in industrial QA over the past two years. Zero-defect production, efficient use of resources, batch size reduction as well as product cycle shortening are drivers of QA. The industry is a “boom industry” and Control 2022 is the place where suppliers and users meet and exchange ideas.

“Precision for Performance”

“For me personally, 2022 will probably be the 30th Control – so in addition to 75 years of Kordt, it’s another reason to celebrate,” says Thomas Jantzen, CEO Managing Partner of Kordt GmbH & Co. KG in Eschweiler. “We are glad that we can meet our customers and partners again in our anniversary year 2022. As the leading trade fair for metrology, Control has offered an ideal forum for personal contact for decades,” confirms Jantzen. Under the motto “Precision for Performance”, Kordt will be showing new developments in the field of automation and operator-independent measuring systems. “In personal discussions, we want to find out how we can support our customers’ performance strengths with our precision equipment,” Jantzen states.

Control is the only trade fair in the world that comprehensively presents technologies, processes, products and system solutions for industrial QA. The industry is optimistic about the future because QA solutions have never been more significant than they are now. The integration of QA technologies into the manufacturing process will be experienced live in all facets at Control 2022. Heiko Müller, Managing Director Renishaw, is also looking forward to the trade fair: “After two years of abstinence, I am looking forward to numerous contacts with our business partners, to the latest information from the market and to our own team dynamics,” says Müller. The Renishaw company will bring highlights of precision measurement, control solutions and systems for generative manufacturing to Stuttgart.

World’s leading technology, communication and business platform for QA

“We’re observing a great demand for trade fair participation in the QA industry. Visitors are already asking for tickets months before the trade fair date,” says project manager Fabian Krüger from trade fair promoter P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. “Exhibitors and trade visitors finally want to meet face-to-face to discuss QS innovations, because a lot has happened in the past few months.” Control as the world’s leading trade fair for QA is therefore an indispensable must-attend event for many companies. “This is shown by the good mood and the current already high proportion of foreign exhibitors of almost 35 percent,” affirms the project manager.

Advances in automation, digitization, contactless processes, remote services and end-to-end tracking are affecting all industries, now including service sectors. The requirements for measuring and testing technology, materials testing, analysis equipment, vision technology, image processing, sensor technology and weighing and counting technology have reached a new level. Inspection technology users use various QA solutions inline in networked processes – including non-contact. This will be explored in greater depth at the special show “Non-Contact Measurement Technology” organized by the Fraunhofer Vision Alliance, which will be held for the 17th time at Control 2022. It will be showing a cross-section of innovative technologies from the field of non-contact measuring and testing technology in Hall 6.

Time and again, the high practical benefit of Control for trade show visitors is emphasized, as well as the top-level professional exchange. Exhibitors and trade visitors should therefore make a note of the date 03. until 06. Mail 2022 in Stuttgart.
