Guide to Heat Flow Thermography
Technologies of industrial image processing and optical measuring and testing technology are an important element in the implementation of zero-defect concepts, the goal of which is 100 percent inspection in production. Due to their non-contact, fast and reliable mode of operation, they can now increasingly be used in step with the production cycle. However, it is still not easy for potential users to decide which image processing technology is most suitable for their own applications.

Technology days offer an all-round view

The Technology days of the Fraunhofer Business Unit Vision offer a broad overview of practice-oriented image processing and optical measurement technology. In addition to the state of the art, realized applications are described and emerging future perspectives are shown. The accompanying trade exhibition shows innovations live with reference to the lectures. Next date: October 25-26, 2023 in Kaiserslautern

Seminars show possibilities and limitations

Unlike the Technology Days, the face-to-face and online seminars of the Fraunhofer Business Unit Vision go into more detail on individual subject areas. On the first day, theoretical basics and example solutions that have already been implemented will be presented. On the second day, as part of the practical part, there is the opportunity to get to know different measuring machines in small groups and to verify the methods offered using your own samples.

Publications

The latest volume in the Vision Guideline Series deals with heat flow thermography and provides a practice-oriented overview of the relevant uses and areas of application.
