The AESUB Target-Net revolutionizes scanning large components like engine hoods by allowing quick placement of reference points across the entire area. This net, laid over objects for scanning, provides an immediate, uniform spread of measurement points, making it a more efficient alternative to the time-consuming practice of applying and removing adhesive dots.

With about 300 measurement targets evenly distributed every 100mm, the 1500 x 2000mm Target-Net facilitates rapid scans from multiple angles. It caters to various materials – magnetic targets for metallic parts ensure firm adherence, while for non-metallic objects like stone or plastic, the net can be stretched or fixed with optional suction pads, keeping reference points about 10mm above the surface. Scanner-friendly, its mesh threads are either undetectable or easily removable in post-processing.

Designed for convenience, the Target-Net is compact, easy to transport, and almost endlessly reusable, significantly cutting down consumable use. Custom sizes, such as 8000x12000mm, are available on request.

Currently featuring 6mm retroreflective points, future iterations will include 3mm points, and non-reflective point nets can be produced upon request. This adaptability makes the Target-Net an indispensable tool for efficient, accurate 3D scanning of large components.
